Midway Ambassadors
This club is a leadership opportunity for selected 5th grade students who are dedicated to serving and representing Midway Elementary. A Midway student ambassador is someone who will represent Midway Elementary School positively, and help build community within our school. Student Ambassadors may be asked to be a buddy and give tours to new students and their families, welcome parents to after school events, make morning announcements, raise the flags and take them down each day, and participate in community outreach projects. There is a monthly meeting after school to discuss upcoming events.
Midway Chorus Club
The Midway Chorus is a group of 5th grade students that meet weekly to learn musical concepts and enjoy music through singing. Chorus students enjoy working together as they experience different genres of music. Midway Chorus meets on Wednesday afternoons.
Midway Garden Club
The Garden Club is organized to help maintain the beauty of our Sydney Floyd Butterfly Garden. This garden was created in 2018 in the loving memory of one of Midway Elementary’s second grade students. The club is open to 4th graders who want to help plant, weed, and beautify the garden throughout the year.
